As a child Lefty's family had to sell their farm to help pay for his education when their mortgage spiraled out of control.   Foreclosures are having a huge influence on family stables in the District, we must move to halt this crisis to ensure a stable stable for every donkey.  We must make sure that those banks who sold bad mortgages are held accountable just as the people who entered these deals with little knowledge are also accountable.  Lefty is committed to fairness and second chances and wants to help homeowners with large loans by providing them with lower interest rates and renegotiated mortgages.
